My Bio
Cliff Cramp's illustration work spans a wide range of genres in the entertainment industry; including background painting for animation, storyboard and visual development art for feature film, CD / DVD cover art, board games, editorial and book illustration. His paintings have been exhibited in many international juried competitions.

In the year, 2000, a studio fire destroyed more than ten years of artwork. After the fire, Cliff switched to digital painting media for much of his illustration assignment work. He has received award-winning status on CGTalk, the largest online community of professional illustrators using digital media. Cliff continues his freelance career while serving as area coordinator for the illustration program at California State University Fullerton. He instructs illustration courses in traditional and digital media.

Cliff's artistic influences include John Singer Sargent, Howard Pyle, Harvey Dunn, NC Wyeth, James Montgomery Flagg, and Dean Cornwell. His contemporary influences are too numerous to list.

Cliff enjoys old things; old cars which he likes to tinker on, old houses which he would like to live in some day, old furniture which he likes to restore, and elderly people who he enjoys talking with. He lives with his wonderful wife and two energetic boys in sunny Southern California.

Heya, Cliff! Remember me? Jasmine? I was your student for special studies illustration back in 2011 (or 2012?)! :D
Wow, touching story. Glad you kept making art after that fire.
